Original Painting
Prices for Existing original paintings are based on the amount of time it takes to complete a painting in combination with my degree of satisfaction with it when completed. The size of the piece, the medium used (pencil, watercolor, oil or acrylic) and the amount of detail usually determine the amount of time required to complete a painting. Prices and details of available paintings are listed with each enlarged image on this site. Before you purchase, please

Painting Commission
When you email your photo or details of the project you are considering, I will reply with a free quotation for your work of art and approximate time it will take to complete. Should you decide to go ahead with the project, I respectfully request a deposit of 10% of my quoted fee. Upon completion, I will email a photo of the completed painting to you. When you approve your work of art, I will package the piece and have it priced for shipping to your destination. When you submit the balance of payment and price of the shipping method you choose, I will ship the original painting to you. Prices shown are in USD.
Portraits
The following prices are for detailed portraits with obscure backgrounds. If a more detailed background is required (i.e. piano, lace curtains, window, etc.), there will be an extra charge. For a second person or pet in the painting, add 80%. For each additional person, add 75%. Framing extra. Prices are in USD.

Pet Portraits
My fee is based on size, amount of detail and any extras you would like included in the painting. For your free quotation, please send the photo of your pet that you would like me to paint and let me know the size, details of what you would like omitted or included and medium (pencil sketch, watercolor, acrylic or oil) that you would like me to use to create your work of art. If you are content with less detail and more of a painterly style, my fee for oil paintings would be 20% less than the above prices. My oil paintings are painted on excellent quality 1 3/4" gallery-wrapped canvas with painted edges so that you have the option to frame or not to frame the painting.
Reproduction Art Prints
Prices for various sizes of reproduction art cards, canvas prints, acrylic prints, metal prints, art prints framed or rolled in a tube can be accessed by choosing an image in SHOP FOR ART section below an enlarged image. Here you can tap your favorite image to enlarge further and get prices of products that the image is found on.
Shipping
Original paintings are shipped directly from my studio. Reproductions such as art prints, canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic prints, art cards, phone cases and pillows are shipped directly from Fine Art America.
If you are located quite a distance from me in Cambridge, Ontario Canada, shipping would be less risky and less expensive without framing and glass. I would be happy to ship your painting unframed so that you can have a local framer do the work.
Prices for shipping original paintings vary based on your location and the weight and size of the parcel (shipped framed or unframed makes a difference) and shipping method. After you place your order, I will package the painting and have it priced for shipping to your destination and let you know the amount before I ship.
Prices for shipping prints vary based on your destination location, shipping method and the weight and size of the parcel (shipped framed or rolled in a tube makes a difference). To determine your shipping price for prints, you must place an order, giving your shipping address. You do not have to complete your order with payment.
